The Federal Capital Territory Civil Service Commission (FCT-CSC) has disowned an online publication claiming that 3,000 job vacancies are available at the commission.

In a statement issued by its management, the commission described the advertisement, which has been circulating on social media platforms, as fake news designed by fraudsters to deceive unsuspecting job seekers.

“The publication is false and has nothing to do with the FCT-CSC. It is the handiwork of fraudsters who intend to defraud unsuspecting members of the public, especially job seekers,” the statement read in part.

The commission advised the public to disregard the report and verify any official information directly at its headquarters, located at the APDC Building, behind the Abuja Geographical Information System (AGIS) complex, Central Business District, Abuja.
