The Minister of Works, Babatunde Raji Fashola has refuted claims that the Minister of Transportation, Chibuike Amaechi was opposed to the N78 billion Federal government refund to Rivers State.
Fashola who disclosed this during the commissioning of the Rebisi flyover in Port Harcourt Today, said the former Governor championed and supported the refund.
He commended the governor for what he termed “radical urban renewal” in the state after going round to inspect ongoing projects.
“Having gone round to see some of the projects Wike is delivering, what I have witnessed is massive urban regeneration and renewal in Rivers,” he said.
