The Rivers State Civil Society Organizations, has reacted to the release of Hon. Farah Dagogo on bail by a state High Court sitting in Port Harcourt, Today.
Spokesperson of RIVCSO, Solomon Lenu in a statement shortly after the court ruling, said “finally justice has prevailed.”
According to him, they had always maintained that tyranny will always have an end, adding that the charges against Farah were trumped up to please certain individuals.
He also said Farah was incacerated for 60 days over a matter that he would have been granted bail before now based on his status.
He noted that even though they were not pleased that his release took longer than expected, they are happy that he has been granted bail at last.
Lenu, commended the media and all those who had followed up the matter to ensure justice is served, adding that Farah can now defend himself.
