Socio – Economic Rights And Accountability Project (SERAP), says it has asked the United Nations Working Group on Arbitrary Detention to sanction Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike over the detention of Federal lawmaker, Hon. Farah Dagogo
Serap made this known in a statement on Tuesday.
The group, also asked the Working Group to order the immediate release of the lawmaker representing Degema/Bonny Federal constituency.
“We’ve asked the UN Working Group on Arbitrary Detention to sanction Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike over the arbitrary detention of Mr. Farah Dagogo simply for peacefully exercising his rights,” it said.
“We also asked the Working Group to order Dagogo’s immediate release,” Serap added.
