The Rivers State Civil Society Organization, has threatened to mobilize people of the State to occupy Government House in Port Harcourt, if Hon. Farah Dagogo is not released by noon, today.
Spokesperson of the organization, Solomon Lenu said this in a statement yesterday.
He noted that the duties of Civil Society Organizations is to protect the country’s democracy and structures.
According to him, Hon. Farah not was arrested based on any genuine reason, adding that the Police have let Rivers people down.
He called on the state commissioner of Police, Eboka Friday to explain why Farah was arrested without proper investigation and due process.
Lenu, furthermore, urged the CP to ensure that the matter is handled with utmost professionalism inline with the laws of the land.
Farah, was yesterday arrested by the Police in Port Harcourt.
