A High Court sitting in Port Harcourt is expected to rule on the bail application of federal lawmaker representing, Bonny/Degema Federal Constituency, Farah Dagogo, Today.

The matter had been adjourned by the presiding judge, Chinwendu Nworgu after lawyers in the matter adopted their written addresses.

Recall that a Federal High Court sitting in Port Harcourt had granted bail to Hon. Farah Dagogo.

Justice Obile in his ruling ordered the state Commissioner of Police, Friday Eboka, Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the State Criminal and Investigation Department, Deputy Superintendent of Police, the state’s Attorney General, and Chief Magistrate, Amadi Nna, to release Dagogo.

He also restrained the respondent from arresting the lawmaker.

Farah Dagogo was arrested by the Police on the orders of the State Government for disrupting the primaries of the People’s Democratic Party in Port Harcourt, few weeks ago.
