The family of a 22-year-old boy, Great Monday Jonah who reportedly died mysteriously at the Habitat hotel in Rumualogu, Obio/Akpor LGA, is calling for an investigation into the cause of the death of their son.
Late Monday who was until his death a staff of the hotel was reported to have died at the hotel on Sunday while on duty.
Patience Monday Jonah, mother of the deceased narrated that they became worried when they noticed that their son did not return home on Monday as he used to, and called his line severally but no response only for the manager of the hotel to call her daughter’s line that she should go and see their pastor as there was an emergency.
Patience Monday who lamented on why the corpse of her son would be taken to the mortuary without the consent of the family called on civil society groups to wade into the matter and find out what killed her son.
When contacted manager of the hotel Mr Lawson said efforts are being made to resolve the issue adding that the police is aware of it.
