The National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control, NAFDAC in Rivers State has warned residents to be careful when buying products so as not to patronise fake products.
The Agency in a statement on Wednesday also urged residents to report any suspicious product.
It also said, efforts are on to arrest those making fake products in the state, and urged residents not to patronise them.
This comes after NAFDAC dismantled a large-scale counterfeit beverage syndicate manufacturing fake Seaman Schnapps, Henessy, Four Cousins, Martell, Black Label, Campari, Chelsea London Dry Gin, Carlo Rossi, McDowells, Smirnoff Ice, Eva non-alcoholic drink, and many more in Eziukwu Market, Aba, Abia State.
