A development expert in Rivers State, Andy Akpotifeh has called on Governor, Nyesom Wike to concentrate on developing Rivers people in 2022.
The expert, in a statement yesterday, said the governor has performed below expectation in the past 12 months.
He berated Gov. Wike for paying what he described as lips service in the areas of human capital development, Agriculture, waste disposal amongst others.
Mr Andy, revealed that he had high expectations that the state was going to be better in those areas, but it has been all about flyovers while the people have nothing in their stomach.
He also said despite challenges bedeviling the state, the governor has been busy spending the resources of the state not budgeted for, in the form of goodwill.
He added that while other states are busying employing people, the state government is not bothered about that.
Mr Andy also said he does not blame the governor for these lapses but those in positions to checkmate his excesses, adding that they have been caged and cannot speak.
