Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps in Rivers State, Commander – Umoh Edet has refuted claims that evil forces are responsible for road crashes during the ember months.
Speaking, during the launch of the 2024 ember months sensitization campaign to reduce Road Traffic Crashes (RTCs) in Port Harcourt on Tuesday, Umoh said the belief is false.
According to him, most road crashes are caused by reckless driving, adding that the theme for this year’s campaign “Speak Out Against Bad Driving” will help curb road crashes during the ember months.
He urged road users to avoid reckless driving and obey Traffic rules, which would help prevent accidents on our roads during and after the ember months.
