Leader of the Etche Legislative Assembly, Cynthia Nwala has alleged that two million naira was stolen from her car by thugs that attacked her yesterday.
Hon. Nwala in a statement yesterday, said the Chief Security Officer of the council led over 20 thugs with knives and guns to beat and strip her naked at the council premises.
According to her, the thugs revealed that they were sent by Chairman of the council, Obinna Anyanwu to teach her a lesson.
Nwala, said they collected the mace she had in her car after councilors had agreed that she leaves with it since the council was under renovation.
The legislative leader also said, she called the council chairman to inform him of their decision and that he agreed.
She called on the council to repair her car and refund the money.
