Some journalists in Rivers State have commended Governor, Nyesom Wike after he scolded security agents who tried to stop them from carrying out their duties during the commissioning of a project yesterday.
It was gathered that security operatives tried to prevent journalists from getting close to the governor when he was about mounting the podium for his speech.
But, the Governor frowned at the incident and called on the officers to allow the journalists do their job.
According to him, “Allow them to do their job, nobody is killing anyone here” the Governor echoed to the excitement of Journalists and attendees.
The Etche campus of the state-owned institution which houses the Faculty of Agriculture was commissioned yesterday by Gov. Wike.
