The case involving leader of Etche Legislative Arm, Cynthia Nwala and Chief Security Officer of the council, Prince Chinedu Nyeche has been adjourned to December 15, 2021.
Chief Magistrate, I.F Iyakwo adjourned the matter after the prosecuting counsel had prayed the court to do so, due to the absence of their client.
Lawyer to the CSO, Daisy Nwokedi disclosed this in a chat with journalists after the court session.
He said the court granted the prayers because Nwala needs to be in court to prove the allegation before any judgement can be reached.
Cynthia Nwala had dragged the Chief Security Officer to court for allegedly beating and stripping her naked on the orders of the council boss, Obinna Anyanwu.
