Executive Chairman of Etche Local Government Area, Hon. Uzodinma Nwafor has announced the distribution of free JAMB registration forms for all eligible residents of the area.
Robinson Oluor, the spokesperson for the council, stated that the initiative is available to both indigenes and non-indigenes living in Etche. This includes students who are awaiting their results, as well as candidates who have obtained at least five credits in their O-Level examinations, with required passes in both English and Mathematics.
According to him, eligible candidates are instructed to visit the council headquarters in Okehi on Tuesday, January 14, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. for documentation, stressing that applicants are required to present their credentials, including Local Government Identification Letters, for verification.
He added that the registration exercise, set to begin on January 15, 2025, will be overseen by Emmanuel Nwokogba, the Senior Special Assistant to the Executive Chairman on Special Duties. The free registration will be available for two weeks.
Dr. Nwafor emphasized that the initiative is part of his administration’s commitment to improving access to education for the youth in Etche.
