The Executive Chairman of Etche Local Government Area, Hon. Uzodinma Nwafor has assured that he will prioritize the inclusion and empowerment of women across the nineteen wards in the area.
Dr. Nwafor gave the assurance on Thursday while playing host to Etche Simplified Women, led by its leader, Amonia Carolyn Nwuke, in Port Harcourt.
The chairman also promised to ensure that gender inclusiveness is achieved in his administration which is crucial for development and progress.
He noted that his government belong to the women and the youth as the next future leaders, hence the need for his administration to give them more priority.
Nwafor assured of his administration’s commitment to better the living standard of Etche people through various policies and programmes.
He solicited for prayers and support of all and sundry to enable him and the Rivers state governor, Siminalayi Fubara succeed.
