The Chairman of Etche Local Government Area, Chima Boniface Njoku, has presented official vehicles to some members of his cabinet in a move aimed at strengthening governance and improving service delivery.
The presentation, which took place on Tuesday, saw the Vice Chairman, Hon. Obene Faith Ijeoma Onyeso, and the Leader of the 10th Etche Legislative Council, Rt. Hon. Marshall Nwankwo, receive official vehicles in recognition of their strategic roles in the administration of the local government.
Also benefiting from the initiative were the Head of Local Government Administration, Ezebunwo Amadi; the Special Assistant on Elders Council, Elder Musa Elekwachi; and the Special Assistant on Political Affairs, Sir Silver Amadi. The vehicles are expected to support them in the effective discharge of their official responsibilities.
In a related development, a special vehicle was presented to Samuel Chukwuemeka Njoku by the Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Etche, Hon. Ephraim Nwuzi.
The chairman said the gesture underscores his administration’s commitment to equipping officials with the necessary tools to enhance productivity and ensure efficient service delivery across the local government area.
