TEXT: DANIEL 7:1-14 KJV
MEMORY VERSE: “And there was given him dominion and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should serve him; his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.” Daniel 7:14 KJV
Ironically, many believers today still view Christianity as just another religion – like Islam, Buddhism, Hinduism, etc. This is a blatant error. In Daniel Chapter 7, the revelation of the four great beasts is a reflection of four great world empires, which would rise simultaneously in contention, one against the other, until the four gave way with the passage of time through political manoeuvring and/or military conquests. God’s people must always keep in mind that all governments, kingdoms, and empires come and go, but God is in control of all, and that the Kingdom of Christ is an everlasting one. God’s work in His kingdom is for the regeneration and redemption of those who give themselves as subjects to Christ’s sovereignty.

It is therefore clear that the central purpose of the prophecies of both Daniel Chapters 2 and 7, however, was to reveal the message of consummation of Daniel 2:44 and Daniel 7:13-14. In the days of the Roman kings, Daniel interpreted that the God of heaven would set up kingdom reign that will last forever, unchallenged. This is the Kingdom of Christ.
CHALLENGES

PRAYER POINT
- Lord Jesus, help thou my weaknesses; that I be not cut off at the fullness of time. Amen.
