TEXT: Amos 3: 1- end
MEMORY VERSE: “Surely the Lord God will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.” Amos 3:7 KJV.
Since creation God has never hidden anything from those he loves. He told Noah to prepare the Ark for the destruction of the world Genesis 6:13-14. He called and told Abraham about the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah.

In our Church God reveals a lot of messages (prophecies, visions or dreams) to us through prophets or prophetesses. We should, therefore not take the revelations for granted because some who did not believe the messages never live to regret, especially warnings against death. 1 Thessalonians 5:20 says “do not treat prophecies with contempt” NIV.
Let us always treat the revelation of God to us with the seriousness it deserves.
CHALLENGES
- Have you prayed against evil messages revealed to you and the church?
PRAYER POINT: Pray for the spirit of steadfastness among our prophets and prophetess.
