ESOCS Devotional 17 July
TEXT: ACTS 23:12-35
MEMORY VERSE: “And when it was day, certain of the Jews banded together and bound themselves under a curse, saying that they would neither eat nor drink till they had killed Paul.” Acts 23:12 KJV
More than forty men plotted to kill Paul. They took an oath that they will not eat until they have killed Paul. They could not succeed because God showed a way of escape to Paul. Child of God are you passing through tough time in your life, have people swore to deal with you for no just cause. Is there any gang up against you? Is it in your office, village or among Christian brethren? Relax, God is in control of every situation Isaiah 54:14-17, Isaiah 43:2, Isaiah 7:7.
Have they taken your name to a shrine, native doctor, coven, or any altar? Remember God is Omnipotent. Psalm 62:11 and he will destroy all the power behind your predicament trust God always and he will never allow you see shame.
