ESOCS Devotional 12 July
TEXT: ACTS 19:13-34
MEMORY VERSE: “And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know, but who are you.” Acts 19:15 KJV
The book of second Timothy 2:19b says that: the Lord know those who are His. This was corroborated by Romans 8:16 that the spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are God’s children.
We cannot claim to be true servants of God. We know ourselves and God knows us. Evil spirits know the true servants of God too. We cannot deceive God. In the above text the evil spirit they wanted to exorcise attached them. We should live a righteous life, a life of holiness, a life that will make our neighbours, friends, and colleagues follow us to Christ Hymn 64 stanza 4.
