TEXT: ISAIAH 63:1-6
MEMORY VERSE: “And I looked, and there was none to help; and I wondered that there was none to uphold: therefore mine own arm brought salvation unto me; and my fury, it upheld me.” Isaiah 63:5 KJV
0 And the apostles, when they had returned, told Him all that they had done. Then He took them and went aside privately into a deserted place belonging to the city called Bethsaida. 11 But when the multitudes knew it, they followed Him; and He received them and spoke to them about the kingdom of God, and healed those who had need of healing. 12 When the day began to wear away, the twelve came and said to Him, “Send the multitude away, that they may go into the surrounding towns and country, and lodge and get provisions; for we are in a deserted place ”
63 Who is this who comes from Edom, With dyed garments from Bozrah,
This One who is [a]glorious in His apparel, Traveling in the greatness of His strength?— “I who speak in righteousness, mighty to save.”
2 Why is Your apparel red, And Your garments like one who treads in the winepress?
3 “I have trodden the winepress alone, And from the peoples no one was with Me. For I have trodden them in My anger, And trampled them in My fury; Their blood is sprinkled upon My garments, And I have stained all My robes. 4 For the day of vengeance is in My heart,
And the year of My redeemed has come. 5 I looked, but there was no one to help, And I wondered That there was no one to uphold;
Therefore My own arm brought salvation for Me;
And My own fury, it sustained Me.
6 I have trodden down the peoples in My anger,
Made them drunk in My fury,
And brought down their strength to the earth.”
Most times we tend to look outwards for solution when the slightest problem arises. We are either looking for parents, siblings, relatives, friends, and even servants of God to help us out in the issues that confront us. We never see any need to look inwards for help. We neglect the potentials that can be generated from the inside. Yes! Many a times we do not believe in our inner strength and what we can do by ourselves and for ourselves.
According to our text, Isaiah only realized what he could do when he could not find help from anyone outside. For so many of us, we are right where we are because our eyes are focused outside for help. We have literally dialed all the numbers stored in our phones all in the name of solution seeking. We have visited several houses and offices looking for help. Let me trigger you that it is time to look inwards. There is something in you that you are not yet aware of. There is a potential you carry that nobody has experienced before. Yes! You that are reading this right now, there is a special grace deposited inside of you that is yet untapped.

If only you can discover it inside, you will get the salvation you are looking for. If only you can see it and put it to use, then, help will be released. This is a call for a paradigm shift, let us begin to look inwards for the help you need: “I can do all things through Christ who strengtheneth me” (Phil. 4:13 KJV). Yes! You can, just look inwards
- Believe in yourself and with the help of God, go and manifest.
- Father, thank you for the grace and potentials you have put in me; help me to discover and put them to use, in Jesus name. Amen.
