The Rivers State Civil Society Organizations, have reacted to the killing of Security Operatives at Omagwa in Ikwerre Local Government Area, of the State on Saturday.
Chairman of RIVCSO, Enefaa Georgewill in a chat with journalists in Port Harcourt, on Monday, condemned the attacks, describing it as barbaric.
He sympathized with families of the deceased officers and the State Police Command over the incident.
Enefaa called on the state government to equip officers of the newly formed Police unit, C4i in the State to enable them effectively protect lives and properties.
He called on aggrieved members of the public to make their grievances known through legal means, and not killing of security Operatives, protecting lives and properties of Nigerians.
