The International Federation of Women Lawyers, FIDA, have promised to hold another meeting with Governorship aspirants in the state tagged “Engaging Rivers Women”.
Chairperson of FIDA in the state, Adata Bio-Briggs disclosed this in a statement after the first edition in Port Harcourt, on Wednesday.
According to her, participants will be allowed to question aspirants to their satisfaction at the next meeting.

And the women spoke!
We had women from Professional Women Engineers of Nigeria, National Association of Women Journalists, their national Deputy President was also present, we had Girls Guide, teachers, National Council of Women Society, Women in Survey, Muslim Women, Christian Association of Nigeria, Women Wing, Rivers State University Women, Female Architects, Entrepreneurs Platform Initiative – EPI and female Students. We also have with us people living with disability, and of course, female lawyers and much more.
They spoke and the aspirants listened. At our next engagement the aspirants will speak and we will question them to our satisfaction.
Our chairman for the day was Hon. Inime Aguma she did a fantastic job, ma’am we are grateful.
