#EndSars: House Speaker Turns Down 2021 Budget

Speaker of Nigeria’s House Of Representatives , Femi Gbajabiamila has announced that he will not sign off on a 2021 budget that does not have adequate provisions to compensate those who have suffered violence from police in the last decade.

The speaker made the statement at Tuesday’s plenary session while addressing the house on the 2021 budget.

He also stated that he will visit some of families of those who have loved ones to police brutality.
