Rivers State Governor, Nyesom Wike has denied mocking presidential candidate of the PDP, Atiku Abubakar after Olusegun Obasanjo endorsed Peter Obi.
Speaking, during the flag off of Mgboudahia Road in Obio/Akpor local government area of the state, Today, Wike said he never mocked Atiku.
He stated that as a member of the People’s Democratic Party he was only worried that Obasanjo endorsed Obi instead of Atiku who was his vice for eight years.
According to him, he will continue to fight for justice and equity in the party until national chairman of the PDP, Iyorchia Ayu resigns as agreed.
Wike also said that rather than find a lasting solution to the problems bedeviling the party, some persons were busy abusing him.
He urged people of the state to vote for the PDP governorship candidate, Sim Fubara for continuity, and urged SIM to build a bridge linking Rumuolumeni to Agip when he takes over power.
