The Paramount Ruler of Emohua, Sergeant Awuse, has strongly condemned the killing of the Vice Chairman of the Obelle Council of Chiefs, Ferdinand Dabiri, who was murdered on Saturday.
In a statement issued on Sunday, Awuse also decried the rising wave of violence in the area and urged security agencies to swiftly apprehend those responsible for the killing. He called for enhanced protection of lives and property in the affected community.
The monarch disclosed that residents of Obelle have fled to neighboring communities due to escalating violence, warning that no region can achieve meaningful development without peace. He emphasized the urgent need to restore calm and stability in the area.
