In a statement signed by his press secretary, Bright Jossy-Elendu, the council’s chairman, Sir Chidi Julius Lloyd, urged residents and business operators to use the opportunity to clean their surroundings and business premises.
He further directed strict adherence to the state government’s restriction of vehicular movement between 7:00 a.m. and 10:00 a.m. during the exercise.
Traditional rulers, religious leaders, community development committees, and youth leaders in Emohua were tasked with mobilising residents for active participation. Security agencies and special units within the local government area have also been instructed to enforce compliance with the law.
