The Chairman of Emohua Local Government Area, Sir Chidi Lloyd, has submitted a 2025 supplementary appropriation proposal to the 10th Emohua Legislative Council, seeking approval to strengthen his administration’s development agenda across critical sectors including security, education, health, and infrastructure.
The proposed supplementary appropriation totals ₦3,297,341,718.30, with capital expenditure projected at ₦3,024,650,180.80 and recurrent expenditure at ₦239,718,192.32.
Addressing the council on Thursday, Sir Chidi Lloyd explained that the bill aligns with his mandate as the democratically elected chairman since August 30, 2025, and demonstrates his commitment to delivering grassroots development.
“The 2025 supplementary appropriation proposal is aimed at reassessing the developmental trajectory of Emohua Local Government and ensuring immediate intervention in critical areas,” he said. “As elected leaders, we have a collective responsibility to serve the good people of Emohua and deliver the dividends of good governance.”
The chairman highlighted plans to enhance healthcare, education, and socioeconomic infrastructure, while also fostering an enabling environment for private sector growth, job creation, and economic opportunities for youth and women.
