The Caretaker Committee Chairman of Emohua Local Government Area, Hon David Chinedu Omereji, has appealed to the people of Emolga to give him time to fully restore electricity in the area as he promised earlier after the restoration of electricity in Akpabu yesterday.
According to Chief Press Secretary of the council, Chizi Enyi, the Chairman made the statement while addressing youths from the LGA who paid him a courtesy visit to know the update on the restoration of electricity.
He said, work was ongoing on the installation of two transformers at Itu after the restoration of power at Akpabu, and that PHED officials were working from Elele Alimini to Ogbakiri to make sure that electricity is fully restored in all parts of the LGA.
Omereji said his administration is about the protection of lives and properties, restore normalcy and empower Emolga people, adding that he has bought extra three transformers, two for Elele Alimini and one for Egbeda.
