Emohua Local Government Area will on Monday, September 8, 2025, host a series of official ceremonies, including the handover of office, the inauguration of a new vice chairman, and the proclamation of the Local Government Legislative Assembly.
According to a statement signed by the chairman’s press secretary, Bright Jossy-Elendu, proceedings will begin with the formal handover of office by the former council administrator, Barr. Frankly Ajinwo, to the executive chairman, Sir. Chidi Julius Lloyd, at the chairman’s temporary office.
At 11:00 a.m., Magistrate of the Rumuji Magisterial District will administer the oath of office to the new vice chairman, Hon. Mrs. Vivian Obiageri Amadi, at the temporary conference room of the chairman.
Immediately after, by 12:00 noon, Chairman Chidi Lloyd will perform the proclamation of the Local Government Legislative Assembly at the Assembly’s temporary plenary hall in the council headquarters.
The council advised principal staff, invited guests, and stakeholders to be seated by 10:00 a.m. ahead of the day’s events.
