The Chairman of Emohua Local Government Area, Sir Chidi Lloyd, has approved the appointment of a five-man committee to drive sensitization and mobilization for the ongoing Continuous Voters Registration (CVR) exercise being conducted by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
In a statement signed by his Executive Assistant and Press Secretary, Bright Jossy-Elendu, the committee will be chaired by Victor Benjamin, with Jossy-Elendu serving as Secretary. Other members include the APC Chairman of Emohua LGA, Azunda Onyekwere; PDP Chairman, Jim Morrison; and Friday Ovumgba.
The committee is tasked with embarking on aggressive sensitization across the 14 political wards of the council to ensure maximum participation in the CVR. It is also expected to draw up a timetable for the transportation of residents to the INEC office at the Emohua council headquarters for the registration exercise.
