Former Chairman of the All Progressives Congress in Rivers State – Emeka Beke has called on National Chairman of the party – Abdullahi Ganduje to reverse the dissolution of the party in the state.
Emeka Beke in a statement in Port Harcourt Today said the NWC lacks the power to dissolve the state executives adding that their tenure has not elapsed.
He described the move as surprising and shocking as he cannot explain the reason behind it.
Meanwhile a former factional chairman of the party in the state – Omiette Eferebo said dissolution of the party has been long overdue.
Recall that the party yesterday disolved all executive committees in the state and appointed a Caretaker Committee.
