Chairman of Eleme Local Government Area, Hon. Brian Gokpa has announced a strategic plan to address the rising number of out-of-school children through a collaborative back-to-school initiative.
Gokpa, revealed this during a meeting with representatives of the National Association of Proprietors of Private Schools (NAPPS), led by Hon. John Osaronu.
Chief Gokpa emphasized his administration’s commitment to improving education by offering scholarships to underprivileged children and providing targeted support to private schools.
He stated that his administration is committed to ensuring every child in Eleme has access to quality education, emphasizing that the partnership will help them achieve their set goals.
The meeting was attended by key officials, including Hon. Mrs Ngajo Ngelale, Supervisor for Education; Saint Mube, Executive Assistant; and Hon. Ngei Nwaollor, Supervisor for Youth Development, among others.
