The Chairman of Eleme Local Government Area, Hon. Phillip Okparaji has donated a 350 KVA transformer to the people of Atewo community in the LGA.
Hon. Philip while donating the transformer said the gesture is part of his administration’s electrification project in the entire local government.
He noted that the transformer was from the council as they did not apply to any individual or corporate organisation for it.
He also said the council would in no time begin the distribution of ten thousand prepaid meters to the people of the area. This, he said is to stop estimated billing and also complement the efforts of the power distribution company.
