In a remarkable display of leadership and commitment to the welfare of the people of Rivers State, His Excellency, Ama-opusenibo, Sir Siminalayi Fubara in a representative capacity by Rt Hon Victor Oko-Jumbo; Speaker Rivers State House of Assembly, yesterday launched the empowerment program for 200 women and vulnerable individuals, powered by Hon Hope Igwe Davidson, a businessman and philanthropist, at Ekara Town, Eleme Local Government Area.
The empowerment program, which took place in Eleme LGA, brought together beneficiaries who were provided with resources and support to enhance their economic stability and independence.
Afterwards, the Right Honourable Speaker graced the burial ceremony of Late Madam Ibitubo Noah Oforibo Sunday Amachree, the Aunt of the CTC Chairman of Asari-Toru LGA, Hon Orolosama Amachree in Buguma.
