The Rivers State Election Tribunal Appeal has dismissed the case filed by Mr. Daniel Olube of the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP), challenging the victory of Chief Hon. (Dr.) Ajuriebie Brain Emere Gokpa in the October 5, 2025, local government elections in Eleme LGA.
The court upheld Chief Brain Gokpa’s win, affirming him as the duly elected executive chairman of Eleme LGA.
