A Rivers journalist identified as Anderson Ezekiel Hart has reacted to yesterday’s election of the Rivers NUJ, stating that politicians should come and take tutorials from the union on how elections are conducted.
Ezekiel in a statement described yesterday’s election as free, fair and credible.
He commended the electoral committee for the election, adding that everyone was impressed and satisfied with its outcome.
You would recall that the Rivers NUJ election held yesterday, after series of postponment. That, was after the intervention of the state commissioner for Information and Communication Paulinus Nsirim.
The incumbent chairman, Stanley Job Stanley and his team were reelected for another three years.
