The case involving Nigeria’s Former Deputy Senate President, Ike Ekweremadu and his wife over alleged organ harvesting has been adjourned till August 4 2022.
This was after the Westminster magistrate court in the UK ruled that David Ukpo, the organ donor is 21 years old and not 15 as alleged.
Meanwhile the court ruled that Ike Ekweremadu and his wife are to be kept in prison custody till the adjourned dare
Ike Ekweremadu and his wife are facing charges bordering on conspiracy to arrange/facilitate the travel of another person with a view to exploitation, namely organ harvesting.
