Eight young persons including a lady suspected to be internet fraudsters, have been arrested by the Port Harcourt Zonal office of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission.
The commission in a statement today, said the suspects were arrested at Mandela Housing Estate, Rumuokoro, Obio/Akpor local government area.
The suspects, Timothy Godspower, Tochukwu Mbonu; Vandaross Ebre, Charles Mba; Okoroma Robinson; Ruth Allison, Sampson Ajaka and Kingsley Obilor, were tested for COVID-19, before they were allowed into the commission’s office.
The commission said, eight different brands of laptops phones, one (1) silver-colored Lexus ES 330 car, One (1) maroon black- coloured Lexus ES 330 car, were among the items recovered from them.
