Nigeria’s Minister of Health, Dr. Osagie Ehanire has commended influential persons who have tested positive for COVID-19, for coming out to publicly reveal their status.
Dr. Ehanire commended these persons while speaking at the media briefing by the Presidential Task Force on Covid-19 in Abuja on Friday.
He said their act and courage will go a long way to encourage others in hiding to come out. Theirr experiences will also encourage citizens to get help and also let people know the magnitude of the pandemic the country and how the world is grappling with.
He said there is no shame and nothing to hide about COVID-19, as he urged Nigerians to seek medical help if they notice any of the symptoms associated with the virus.
