Following a petition by the US Federal Bureau of investigation (FBI), Kenneth Gift, a Computer Science Undergraduate of the University of Port Harcourt and two other suspects have been arrested by operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC.
The suspects Kenneth, his girlfriend Spice Dandy and her mother were arrested in Delta State by the Benin Zonal Office of the commission, yesterday, Thursday.
The trio were arrested for alleged financial fraud believed to be in millions of naira.
According to the agency in a statement released yesterday, the three suspects were arrested following a rejoinder petition from the FBI and intelligence by operatives of the Commission on the alleged financial activities of the suspects.
It said, investigations are on going as the suspects will be charged to court in due cause. Large cache of cash, cars and a duplex were recovered from the suspects.
