The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, in Port Harcourt, has arrested seven suspected oil thieves at the GRA axis of Port Harcourt.
The commission, disclosed this in a post on its official Twitter handle on Thursday.
It said the suspects were arrested with a tanker loaded with illegally refined petroleum products.
The Commission, also said they got intelligent report, which led to the arrest of the suspected oil thieves.
They said the suspects will be charged to court, when investigation is concluded.
The Commission, said eight drums, five Jerry cans, Toyota Camry car, a pumping machine, hose, and 65 sacks of suspected illegally refined petroleum products, were recovered from them.
The suspects include; Taiwo Adepoju Ggadagri Igho, Saviour Ukpong, Evans Dike, Daniel Uebari and Nsikak Magnus.
