Operatives of the Lagos Zonal Directorate 2 of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) have arrested 93 suspected internet fraudsters in Abeokuta, Ogun State.
The arrests were made on Sunday, August 10, 2025, during a sting operation conducted following credible intelligence linking the suspects to internet-related crimes.
During the operation, the EFCC recovered 18 vehicles and numerous mobile devices from the suspects.
The arrested individuals will be charged to court upon the conclusion of ongoing investigations.
