The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, has arrested 24 internet fraudsters in Asaba, Delta State.
The Commission, in a post on its official Twitter handle today, said its Benin Zonal Command arrested the suspected ‘Yahoo Boys’ on Thursday.
The Commission, said the suspects were arrested at their hideout in Asaba, Delta state following actionable intelligence.
Items such as cars, laptops and phones were recovered from the suspects.
The commission stated that the suspects will be charged to court in accordance with the laws of the land.
It warned those involved to desist from the act, or face the full weight of the law when caught.
Recall that the Port Harcourt Zonal Command had few days ago arrested 29 suspected internet fraudsters.
