Following the impeachement of Comr. Philip Shaibu as Deputy Governor of Edo State, Governor Godwin Obaseki has appointed 38-year-old Omobayo Godwin as new Deputy Governor.
Omobayo was the Labour party candidate for Akoko-Edo Federal Constituency election in 2023.
He is an Electrical Electronics Engineer with a wealth of experience in the oil and gas sector.
