Edo Guber: Labour Party’s Candidate Akpata Loses Ward

Labour Party’s governorship candidate in Edo State, Olumide Akpata has lost his polling unit to the People’s Democratic Party.

At Akpata’s polling unit 11, Ward 06, Oredo LGA, the PDP polled a total of 41 votes. The Labour party came second with 32 votes while the APC scored 19.

Akpata, alongside candidates of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Asue Ighodalo, Senator Monday Okpebholo of the All Progressives Congress are the leading contenders in the election.
