The Nigeria Police has denied claims by Governor Nyesom Wike of Rivers State that it placed him under house arrest in Edo state yesterday.
The Edo State Commissioner of Police, Johnson Kokumo in a chat with Journalists said the Police does not need to place anyone under house arrest for the sake of elections.
CP Johnson noted that anyone no matter how highly placed who does not have any business with the election will not be allowed to move around as movements have been restricted.
