The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC has announced results of the Edo State Governorship election in 16 out of the 18 Local Government Areas of the state.
Based on the results announced so far candidate of the APC, Monday Okpebholo; is leading with 244, 549, followed by Asue Ighodalo of the Peoples Democratic Party’s Asue Ighodalo with 195,954 and the Labour Party’s Olumide Akpata with 13,348
Results of two LGAs are yet to be announced, as the collation exercise has been put on hold till 5 pm today.
