In a bid to ensure a hitch free Easter celebration, the Rivers State Police Command, has deployed over 5000 police officers to different parts of the state.
Spokesperson of the state command, DSP. Grace Iringi Koko disclosed this in a statement, Today.
According to her, the officers were drawn from different divisions and tactical units of the command.
She said the officers are to ensure the protection of lives and properties of Rivers people, before, during and after the Easter Celebration.
In the same vein, the Federal Road Safety Corp in the state, has deployed over 1000 of its personnel across the state.
The agency, said the officers are to ensure motorists obey traffic rules during the Easter celebration to ease traffic across the state.
