A Facebook user, Leesi Dagoni Felix has alleged that armed criminals have taken over the alternative route that was created due to the protest on the East-West road.
Leesi, who disclosed this in a Facebook post today, said cases of armed robbery attacks have been reported in the area, in the past three days.
He warned travellers to avoid travelling along the Nonwa, and Ban-Ogoi roads in Tai Local Government Area.
His post reads,

Information has it that armed criminals have taken over the alternative route.
If you are traveling from Bori to Port Harcourt, please avoid any vehicle going through the Nonwa, and Bara Ban-Ogoi in Tai LGA and the Afam, Obeama Asa and Kom Kom Road in Oyigbo.
As cases of robbery attack have been repeatedly reported in the past three days.
